How to Run

Anyone who lives or works in Los Feliz and is at least eighteen years of age at the time of the election can run for a seat on the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council Board.

Fill out the candidate registration form at the bottom of this page. 

In Spring 2025, Ten District Representatives, one from each of the six Districts, shall be elected to a term of four years. Eligibility for these positions is limited to those “Stakeholders” as that term is defined herein, who are at least eighteen years of age at the time of the election and who live or work in one geographically designated district for which they wish to stand for election.

Four Community Interest Representatives, one from each of the Community Interests: Business, Recreation, Education, Public Health & Safety, shall
also be simultaneously elected
. Eligibility for these positions is open to all
“Stakeholders” as that term is defined herein, who are at least eighteen (18)
years of age at the time of the election and who demonstrate that they both
have a stake with respect to the Community Interest they seek to represent
and that that interest lies within the LFNC Boundaries.

Candidates can fill out the candidate submission form below OR HERE. Should the candidate require a PDF in order to apply via mail, email Elections@LosFelizNC.org. CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE IS 2/18.

FIND YOUR DISTRICT

Stakeholders interested in running for a NC board seat must complete a Candidate Filing Application - The application period will open December 27th.

Once certified, all candidates will be expected to review and adhere to the Candidate Guidelines found HERE.

Candidate Application Form

Thanks for becoming a candidate for the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council! 

In order to certify you as a candidate, we need some information. 

It's pretty easy: If you're running for a district seat, you have to be a stakeholder in that district. If you're running for an at-large community interest seat, you have to be a stakeholder related to that community interest.

All candidates must provide the following to be certified as a candidate:

1) A document or documents proving that they meet the specific stakeholder requirements for the office sought

2) Proof of age

3) Photo identification


No candidate may stand for multiple seats in the same election.
